REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 22 August 2025 – A total of 10 officers, comprising of four officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and six civilian officers from the Ministry of Defence, attended the second edition of the Brunei-Singapore Junior Defence Interaction Programme (BSJDIP) held in the Republic of Singapore. The Republic of Singapore also nominated five military officers and five civilian officers to take part in the three-day programme, which was held over three days from 19 August to 21 August 2025.

The objectives of the BSJDIP include developing leadership, exposing participants to current issues, providing them with the opportunity to discuss and present views systematically, as well as fostering and strengthening networks among yang defence officers from both countries. The program, also serves as a  platform for participants to share and learn from one another’s experiences, while gaining further insights into each  country’s defence institutions and the longstanding bilateral relations. 

The programme in the Republic of Singapore featured briefing sessions conducted by the Defence Policy Office and the Singapore Armed Forces, as well as a learning development programme through sports. Participants also engaged in a dialogue session with the Deputy Secretary (Policy) of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Singapore and visited the 18th Divisional Air Defence Artillery Battalion.

The Closing Ceremony of BSJDIP was concluded by the presentation of certificates to the participants by the Deputy Secretary (Policy), Ministry of Defence, Republic of Singapore.​​








BRUNEI-SINGAPORE JUNIOR DEFENCE INTERACTION PROGRAM (BSJDIP)

REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Khamis, 22 Ogos 2025 – Seramai 10 orang pegawai yang terdiri daripada empat orang Pegawai Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dan enam orang pegawai awam Kementerian Pertahanan, telah menghadiri edisi kedua Program Brunei-Singapore Junior Defence Interaction (BSJDIP) di Republik Singapura. Pihak Republik Singapura juga turut mencalonkan lima orang pegawai tentera dan lima orang pegawai awam bagi menghadiri program yang diadakan selama tiga hari mulai 19 Ogos hingga 21 Ogos 2025.

Antara objektif program BSJDIP adalah untuk membina kepimpinan dan mendedahkan para peserta kepada isu-isu semasa serta memberi mereka peluang untuk berbincang dan mengemukakan pandangan secara sistematik disamping memupuk dan meningkatkan rangkaian hubungan antara pegawai pertahanan muda daripada kedua-dua buah negara. Program ini juga menjadi bagi para peserta untuk berkongsi dan mempelajari pengalaman masing-masing, disamping mendapat maklumat lebih lanjut mengenai institusi pertahanan serta hubungan dua hala yang telah terjalin selama ini.

Sesi taklimat daripada Jabatan Dasar Pertahanan Republik Singapura dan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Singapura serta Program Pembangunan Pembelajaran melalui sukan merupakan antara aktiviti yang disediakan oleh pihak Republik Singapura. Selain itu, peserta turut menghadiri sesi dialog bersama Yang Mulia Timbalan Setiausaha (Dasar), Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Singapura serta mengadakan lawatan ke 18th Divisional Air Defence Artillery Batallion. 

Majlis Penutup Program BSJDIP telah disempurnakan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada para peserta oleh Yang Mulia Timbalan Setiausaha (Dasar) Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Singapura.
